Of course, there are at least a thousand ways of getting into trouble in Las Vegas, and a thousand ways to find fun things to do in Las Vegas. The Internet abounds with sites that give you coupons for 2 for 1 offers for shows and buffets. Most casinos offer free gifts to save the club's players, and there are numerous publications, including coupons. Information on Las Vegas takes many forms. Even I have a couple of friends who go to Vegas at least twice a year, and I always say everything "inside" of the "fun stuff" that is dirt. I took his advice first, and soon discovers that what a person finds pleasure, you can not find even a little interesting. No difinatively I can say he knows more than me, but at least Iw ill say some things that you have not heard before. To do this, I have compiled a list of 10 things you can make your visit to Las Vegas a bit better or at least a little more interesting.
1. Get a rental car - Although Las Vegas is a great place to stroll and people watch is a nightmare for the feet. I like to walk in the casinos and see what they have to offer, but I found the apparent distance between the casinos on the Strip, leaving little energy for fun things to do in casinos. The tram is a great idea, but it is in the back of the casinos and most casinos are as deep as their width. You should see the poor did not follow my advice and gazillion hoofing around. After one or two blocks from the main road, driving is a breeze.
2. See a show - go to a ticket and get half-price tickets for something you've never heard of. Some of these shows are fun for cheap tickets. Definitely get tickets for a show of hypnosis and to be prepared. I also suggest a show the likes of "The Circus". Tip - When you have purchased tickets instead of 1 / 2 the price, usually in front of the line privileges the next day to get tickets to something different.
3. Sit back and enjoy the casinos - New York, New York is one of the most impressive casinos in the view, then down the neck of rental and parking (the valet is free, except the time to return to your car). Sit in one of the most active on the clock and people. Check the box that looks like it was in the old tapas smoking in New York.
4. Famous Nathan - If you know, you know. If not, find out.
5. Get a massage - if you use the spa in their casino / hotel or in one of the thousands that appear elsewhere on / off of the band for a massage, a massage. There is nothing more relaxing than this. This trick is only going to thank me.
6. More Boulder - Las Vegas is more than the band. I know, I know, but true. "Other" side of town (Boulder Highway and Fremont) are often cheaper to eat at the buffet and the best casino odds. There is also the advantage of traffic is not nearly as much as the main avenue.
7. Freemont - Talk to the other side of town, what about the old part of town? In this changing city, there is a place you can still get an idea of the past. Any of the casinos on Freemont Street will offer a direct opening to the "experience" and if you see something in Las Vegas, see here. Wait approximately 17:00 on Friday night and beat the crowd which gathered at the door. There are bars with open doors and offers of free or buy one get one drink specials. Watch the lights go out and street artists to stop what they are doing, staring at the ceiling and watch the show. Wil not be disappointed. There are also some interesting clubs, the former group of Fremont, which, if nothing else, give meaning to the other side of the glitz and glamor of other places.
8. Learn when to Hold'em - Take a free course for most of the casinos to learn to play something I do not know. Learn to play poker and sit in a tournament. Play games that are not foreigners in key areas. Sit back and enjoy the drinks and slot machines.
9. Check out the free stuff - There are interesting things to many people just walk right by all the time. Enjoy a display of pirate show in front of Treasure Island. Watch the dancing fountains in front of the Bellagio Hotel. We had one of the city of Las Vegas passes and spent most of the day for free stuff included with it.
10 Out of Town - Take a trip somewhere, or on the side of the road. The tour is very happy. Go to Laughlin or Reno and see other cities (with a lease, you might as well use it).
